How we use these KPIs +
Start with the business decision, then agree the calculation, data source, review period, and owner. Read growth alongside margin and cash flow; read efficiency alongside service quality. Targets depend on your baseline and operating model. We review progress against that baseline before deciding what to change next.
01 / Shopify migration
Make the move. Mind the details.
Moving from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or a custom platform? Start by checking Shopify against the way your business sells and fulfills orders.
We scope the transfer, rebuild the agreed experience, and test the connections your team depends on before launch.
Inventory products, variants, customer records, content, and order history. Agree what transfers, what stays archived, and how to verify it.
02
Plan the changeover
Map old URLs to relevant destinations. Review payments, subscriptions, account access, inventory, and fulfillment with the providers involved.
03
Rehearse the release
Check sample imports and test purchase flows. Agree the final data sync, launch window, recovery steps, and post-launch checks.
02 / Shopify store refresh
Give customers a clearer way to buy.
A refresh can focus on the parts of the store that hold people up. We review the journey with you, then define whether targeted theme changes or a broader redesign fits the work.
Navigation, collections, search, and filters that help shoppers narrow their choices.
Product pages & mobile
Useful product detail, clear variants, delivery information, and purchase controls that work on a small screen.
A manageable storefront
Reusable theme sections, accessibility checks, and a review of apps and scripts affecting page performance.
03 / Shopify growth
Give the next release a business reason.
Choose improvements using your store data, customer feedback, and margins. We help turn the findings into development work, with a baseline and a way to judge the result.
That can mean a clearer product offer, a better cart experience, repeat-purchase flows, or an integration that reduces manual work.
The improvement cycle
Find the frictionReview the journey and check the quality of the available data.
Choose a changePrioritize by expected value, effort, and operating cost.
Ship & reviewMeasure the agreed outcome and decide what to keep or change.
Use controlled experiments when traffic supports them. For smaller stores, combine usability feedback with careful before-and-after review.
Own the downside with a growth mindset.
Know what the store costs to run.
The build is one part of the investment. We consider ongoing costs and the contribution a change needs to make before prioritizing it.
Total cost of ownership
Compare the project cost, Shopify plan, theme, apps, payment fees, integrations, and ongoing support over an agreed period.
Commercial progress
Review conversion, average order value, repeat purchases, and contribution margin together. Increased revenue can come with increased costs.
Operational value
Track order errors, support demand, and manual tasks. Distinguish time saved from cash savings your business actually realizes.
Targets are agreed against your baseline. Revenue, ranking, and conversion improvements are not guaranteed.
The systems behind the storefront
Connect the next part of the experience.
Keep product, order, and customer information useful across your business. We assess existing apps first, then scope custom development where the requirement calls for it.
Apps & integrations
Connect inventory, fulfillment, customer support, and reporting with defined data ownership and failure handling.
Mobile & AI
A customer app or an AI workflow should solve a specific task. Scope the product, permissions, and running costs before committing to the build.
Deliverables, fees, timing, ownership, and support are agreed in a proposal before work begins.
Before we begin
Useful questions. Straight answers.
Do we need to migrate, or can we refresh our current store?+
We review your current platform against the work you need it to do. If a targeted improvement fits, we can scope that. A move to Shopify should have a clear business reason.
Can all of our data move to Shopify?+
The transfer method depends on the data and source platform. Products, customers, historical orders, and other records need separate checks. Customer passwords cannot be transferred through a customer CSV; we plan the account-access experience accordingly. Subscription and payment-provider constraints need their own review.
We inventory important URLs, plan redirects to relevant destinations, and check metadata and links. We also review Shopify’s redirect limitations. Search visibility can change during a migration, so monitoring and follow-up belong in the plan.
How much does a Shopify project cost, and how long does it take?+
Catalog complexity, design scope, data quality, integrations, and release requirements determine the estimate. We agree the scope, cost, and schedule in a proposal. Platform fees and ongoing services are considered separately from the initial build.
Can you improve growth after launch?+
Yes. An ongoing engagement can cover a prioritized improvement backlog, theme changes, integrations, and measurement. We agree the outcomes to assess and review results against the baseline. Paid media, new tools, and third-party fees need their own agreed scope.
Can you work with our marketing team or existing agency?+
Yes. We can scope the development work alongside your team or agency, with clear responsibilities for content, campaigns, implementation, and measurement.
